2017. Sabrina, 13 weeks pregnant, goes clothes shopping for her family at the local Goodwill.
The last time she shopped here, her six-year-old daughter yelled “look momma, a nigger,” referring to a black employee, to whom Sabrina later apologized to. According to a 2014 census, blacks make up 0.08% of their county’s population.

1/4/2017. PA. USA. Dan drives by a fracking well pad currently under construction not far from his home. This particular region has 40 active wells with over 109 violations filed (1), which Dan believes contributed to four of his eight children being diagnosed with autism.

Dan waits for the whistle during a quick carve chainsaw competition at an annual woodsman show. I was told a member of the committee has been trying to ban Daniel from the annual event due to his outspoken beliefs, but the chairman says as long as he's in office Dan has nothing to worry about.

The loud ringtone to her phone went off several times prior to her going into the delivery room; the white supremacist lyrics for "Battle Hymn of the Republic,” from the movie American History-X.

6/24/2017. Dan with his youngest daughter during a meet & greet he hosted in an effort to recruit new members.
11/14/2018. Dan co-hosting a White Nationalist call-in radio program out of the family dining room. The following morning Dan’s wife Sabrina gave birth to their ninth child Vyenna. A pregnancy cast was molded from his wife's stomach prior to the show and sits to dry on the table (right).
A month following the day this image was taken Dan resigned from the radio show and the organization he was affiliated with.
For the moment, he and his wife are what is referred to as "independent" white nationalists.

In 2013, a year after Dan and his wife’s second child was diagnosed with autism, they started reading about National Socialism. The couple felt the diagnosis of both children was somehow related to man-made influences, such as hydraulic fracturing and childhood immunizations. The ideology of National Socialism fell in line with their core beliefs and quickly became part of their daily lives.
Today, they remain active members within the White Nationalist movement and have seven children ranging from one to nine, four have been diagnosed with autism.
2/19/2017. Ulysses, PA. USA. A view of “grandma’s house,” a home that Dan inherited which is primarily used for storing children’s toys.
Adjacent to the house, sharing the same property are numerous hand built structures that surround a three-bedroom compound that Dan fabricated from a trailer. A Swastika flag flies from the castle-like roof and his two dogs Adolf and Eva are chained to a tree to protect the entrance from unwanted visitors.
